The new line-up of engines with the introduction of the new XC13 engine bring, thanks to new cutting-edge solutions, excellent fuel efficiency, with a significant reduction in consumption.
New XCursor 13 diesel brings state-of-the-art powerline technologies such as Dual Flow Turbine Volute for Downspeeding, Higher fuel injection pressure (2.500 bar), New lighter cylinder block, crankshaft and camshaft, Smart auxiliaries and Friction reductions.
Top Engine rating produces up to 580 hp and 2.600 Nm of torque, perfect for heavy-duty missions that require maximum performance, while 500 hp rating, with 2.600 Nm of torque is the best to maximize efficiency on long-haul missions.
Engine weight has been reduced by 10%, while durability standard is now up to 1,6 million kilometres, 33% greater than its predecessor.
The high torque available at low engine speeds (downspeeding) permits the use of faster rear axle ratios. The reduction in engine speed when running at constant speed allows the engine to use less fuel.
The new High Performance Engine Brake is the best in the market, capable to substitute the Intarder in most missions
Exceptional performance with lower consumption is improved by the new generation 17x rear axle with faster ratios now available, New Traxon 2 transmission and improved aerodynamics with mirror less cameras for rear visibility.
In addition, the total compatibility of the Cursor diesel engine family Euro VI/E with second-generation biofuels HVO / XTL (EN 15940) reduces well to wheel CO2 emissions.
xC13 12.9 l Natural Gas engine is available only for AS cab with 500hp and 2200Nm torque.

Traxon 2 Gearbox and HI-TRACTION
The HI-TRACTION hydrostatic traction system automatically switches to all-wheel drive to give you maximum grip when you need it most, improving handling and driving safety and increasing fuel efficiency.
Now also available with creep function, the system allows the IVECO X-Way to seamlessly tackle the last mile off-road, offering outstanding performance in on-road sections.
Remove Hi-Traction hydrostatic is available only for diesel engines
Traxon 2 gearbox with off-road functionalities
With the 12 speed Traxon2 automated gearbox you can benefit from a host of functionalities such as Rocking Mode, Off-road Mode, Creeping Mode or 4 reverse gears to tackle with ease the off-road sections of your mission.
Shift Assistant: with High performance engine brake engaged new traxon2 will automatically disengage it when driver is requesting a gear-shifting resulting no mechanical loss and increased comfort.
Reversing Assistant: Traxon2 is managing the driver’s request of reversing gear while travelling at low speed with automatic deceleration, stop and reverse avoiding unnecessary mechanical wear.
Roll against assistant: while on uneven soil the vehicle is rolling back Traxon2 intervenes with a small deceleration slowing down the vehicle roll back and engages neutral gear automatically reducing wear on gearbox and clutch.

The entire driving area has been redesigned to provide more space and excellent visibility. Every single detail has been designed to meet the needs and expectations of the driver.
New steering wheel and controls ensure comfort and safety for the driver in every operation.
The new dashboard is customizable with new materials and colours, with a renewed fully adjustable steering wheel, full TFT instrument cluster and infotainment.
State of the art “car like” feeling with more vertical steering wheel and lower driving position enhance comfort and responsiveness.
Choose between the leather or fabric upholstery of seats and discover the enveloping comfort of the cushions and the improved driving ergonomics. Turn the engine on and off by simply pressing the Start/Stop button on the steering wheel. the new electric parking brake is engaging automatically to simplify operations and increasing safety.
Rest relax and sleep well
The symmetrical layout of the night area has been designed so you can enjoy a good night’s rest in great comfort. You can sleep soundly and safely with the the night-time safety lock integrated in the central locking system. The one-piece lower bunk is available with a choice of soft or hard mattress. The Smart or Comfort upper bunk can be used as a luggage compartment or a passenger bed.
Perfect lighting vs common
100% full LED – inside and out, including the marker lights – give you the perfect illumination inside the cab and on the road for safe night-time driving. LEDs also improve durability vs traditional solutions
Driving, other work and resting are all improved.
The driving area had been redesigned to improve ergonomics.
The new foldable table on the passenger side of the dash panel is ideal for those other work tasks in the cab that require a flat worksurface with a useful USB charging socket alongside.
The lower console integrates a convenient shelf with bottle holder, cup holder and background lighting.
Further storage is available above the windscreen and under the bunk.
The integrated HVAC system offers heating, ventilation and air conditioning with “Eco-Mode” function.

New full TFT 10″ or 12″ digital cluster is completely reconfigurable and provides an advanced ADAS interface. Infotainment is integrated and compatible with Apple Carplay and AndroidAuto, so that 2 phones can be connected contemporarily via Bluetooth.
On-board vocal driver companion built on Amazon Web Services with Amazon Alexa* features is fully embedded and climate controls are integrated.
