New XC13 engine
The new line-up of engines with the introduction of the new XC13 engine bring, thanks to new cutting-edge solutions, excellent fuel efficiency, with a reduction in consumption of up to 10%.
New XCursor 13 diesel brings state-of-the-art powerline technologies such as Dual Flow Turbine Volute for Downspeeding, Higher fuel injection pressure (2.500 bar), New lighter cylinder block, crankshaft and camshaft, Smart auxiliaries and Friction reductions.
Top Engine rating produces up to 580 hp and 2.800 Nm of torque, perfect for heavy-duty missions that require maximum performance, while 500 hp rating, with 2.600 Nm of torque is the best to maximise efficiency on long-haul missions.
Engine weight has been reduced by 10%, while durability standard is now up to 1.6 million kilometres, 33% greater than its predecessor.
The high torque available at low engine speeds (downspeeding) permits the use of faster rear axle ratios. The reduction in engine speed lower engine RPMs when running travelling on motorways allows the engine to use less fuel.
High performance engine brake & new driveline
The new High Performance Engine Brake, with a lower weight and more than 15% higher braking torque then the standard version, is substituting the Intarder in most missions granting a lower fuel consumption.
Exceptional performance with lower fuel consumption is improved by the new generation 17x rear axle with faster ratios now available, New Traxon 2 transmission
Aerodynamics
The aerodynamic performance has been optimised by studying in detail all the exterior surfaces to reduce drag. The new mirror cams are a significant part of this. The results give to the new IVECO S-Way savings in terms of fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and reduced total cost of ownership.
Fuel Saving Design
The new aerodynamic components, including the new mirror cams, give to our new IVECO S-Way NG a good saving in terms of CO2 emissions and reduce the total cost of ownership.
Fuel-saving devices:
- Intelligent auxiliary systems (air compressor with clutch, smart alternator and variable flow steering pump) prevent any energy waste when their operation is unnecessary.
- The Hi-Cruise 2.0 predictive driving system with GPS technology integrates driver assistance functions including eco-roll, predictive gearshift and predictive cruise control, using cutting-edge GPS mapping technologies.
- The roof, side spoilers and front wings improve aerodynamic performance.
- The IVECO Eco Mode function has been developed to maximise fuel efficiency.
- The anti-idling device automatically turns off the engine in order to avoid long periods of idling.
- The Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) ensures that the tyre pressure is always the ideal one.
- Low rolling resistance tyres.

The entire driving area has been redesigned to provide more space and excellent visibility. Every single detail has been designed to meet the needs and expectations of the driver.
New steering wheel and controls ensure comfort and safety for the driver in every operation.
The new dashboard is customisable with new materials and colours, with a renewed fully adjustable steering wheel, full TFT instrument cluster and infotainment.
State of the art “car like” feeling with more vertical steering wheel and lower driving position enhance comfort and responsiveness.
Choose between the leather or fabric upholstery of seats and discover the enveloping comfort of the cushions and the improved driving ergonomics. Turn the engine on and off by simply pressing the Start/Stop button on the steering wheel. the new electric parking brake is engaging automatically to simplify operations and increasing safety.
Rest relax and sleep well
The symmetrical layout of the night area has been designed so you can enjoy a good night’s rest in great comfort. You can sleep soundly and safely with the the night-time safety lock integrated in the central locking system. The one-piece lower bunk is available with a choice of soft or hard mattress. The Smart or Comfort upper bunk can be used as a luggage compartment or a passenger bed.
Perfect lighting vs common
100% full LED – inside and out, including the marker lights – give you the perfect illumination inside the cab and on the road for safe night-time driving. LEDs also improve durability vs traditional solutions
Driving, other work and resting are all improved.
The driving area had been redesigned to improve ergonomics.
The new foldable table on the passenger side of the dash panel is ideal for those other work tasks in the cab that require a flat worksurface with a useful USB charging socket alongside.
The lower console integrates a convenient shelf with bottle holder, cup holder and background lighting.
Further storage is available above the windscreen and under the bunk.
The integrated HVAC system offers heating, ventilation and air conditioning with “Eco-Mode” function.
Including new TFT instruments, new infotainment and mirrorless camera.
New full TFT 10″ or 12″ digital cluster is completely reconfigurable and provides an advanced ADAS interface. Infotainment is integrated and compatible with Apple Carplay and AndroidAuto, so that 2 phones can be connected contemporarily via Bluetooth.
IVECO DRIVER PAL, the on-board vocal driver companion built on Amazon Web Services with Amazon Alexa* features, is fully embedded and climate controls are integrated.
