Traxon 2 gearbox with off-road functionality
The Traxon 2 12-speed automated gearbox offers a range of features, including rocking mode, off-road mode, creep mode and four speeds in reverse for easy off-road handling.

HI-TRACTION
The HI-TRACTION system automatically activates to provide additional front hydraulic traction when needed and prevent rear axle slip on slippery surfaces. It offers all the advantages of all-wheel drive in terms of grip, handling and driving safety.

The HI-TRACTION system is activated manually allowing you to switch from the “Not active” mode to the “Ready to engage” mode. The system then runs in the background and is ready to activate when needed. In the event of rear axle slip, the system automatically switches to “Active” mode and provides front-wheel drive.

The system is disabled when:
– the driver presses the button in the cab.
– The vehicle returns to normal driving conditions and speeds.
– The oil temperature in the hydraulic circuit exceeds 90 deg C.
Boost mode is activated at each stop start (0 to 3 km/h) to improve traction and reduce clutch wear.
